This is an LDraw multi-part-dat file, with a proposed solution to the backlash experienced when using worm gears to pose limbs in robots and mecha.
Backlash is caused when the meshing of the teeth of gears allows a certain amount of "play", which can result in "wobbly" or unstable systems.

You will require some sort of LDraw viewer to use this file.

For the purpose of demonstration - I attempted to build some weighing scales. This file is the result. I am not entirely happy with them, as they are a little stiff - but I can always create another version later.
I was trying in fact to see what the weight difference between certain combinations of Lego elements was - and thought it would be amusing to use Lego to do so.
